What happens when deaf stupid people live right next door and they want to hear music?
Lets start by making a side note on that intro... When I say deaf I'm referring to a guy that ears his music too loud... You'll get my point if you keep reading. I'm not referring to deaf people and much less to members of the Deaf community which I came in contact this year and who are people I really admire... Maybe I'll write about it someday. This is one of the latest adventures of my life. Somebody should write a walkthough for it someday... For those who don't know I live on a students residence, something like a dorm for the American folks out there, the thing is that it is European and they charge you more (you have a room just for yourself, bathroom, and a small kitchen). The thing is I have a neighbour which lives right next door that hears his music so loud that I can't listen to mine. What do you do on these cases? You call reception and they call the guy who is making noise to reprehend him, and that's it. Normally I call the guy who is making the noise, if I know him so I don't get him into trouble. This was not the case. After a few calls, he came to my door and said, "If I'm making to much noise, call me and I'll drop the volume". After that day I always called him, although he always seemed a little reluctant to comply. I later came to know that he refers to me like the guy who is always bitching, and I am! You can't max out the volume at 4 am - Thursday!!!! The thing is that one night he woke me up, and when I'm wake up late at night because somebody is making noise, I'm not a living being, I'm a zombie like creature who likes to fuck up everything, so I called reception. The next day he maxed out the music again and starting beating my wall so I would wake up. I did and called reception. The things got ugly when I called again someday and this guy came to my door looking around for a fight, insulting me, etc. I don't recall well, but later on the management asked me if I had a knife on my hand, and I started to think that maybe I did, because I was cooking and was expecting a friend of mine, so I answered the door without thinking. Today I really think that if I really had a knife on my hand, it probably saved me lots of trouble. The thing is, I'm paying a fortune to stay here and I can't live in this situation. Right now this guy is a clock bomb, I came to know that he consumes heavy drugs and other things about him later... I didn't think twice, packed my things and when living with my girlfriend, for some days until management could find a solution, that's why I've been offline these days. Liquid Fear is on exams right now, and Harry has been holding the site on his slow pace, but better than nothing. My story ended when management decided to switch one of us and put a heavy warning on this guy... Lets wait and see.
