Gyaku, of the Elders, uses blackest magic to eliminate the other Elders, throw-lag the cosmic forces out of alignment. When this happened, the gate to the demon world was blown open, and Gyaku became possessed by the most powerful demon in the netherworld. With this power, Gyaku could destroy the Earth! Now you are sure it is your destiny to defeat Gyaku, close the gate to the netherworld, and restore balance to the universe. Only through persistence and perseverance will you have a chance to challenge Gyaku. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIPS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are two ways to choose which opponents to fight early in the game. Way #1: If you’re having trouble with a particular character, you might want to fight him first, so that if you lose, you can restart the game without using up a continue. Way #2: If there’s a particular character you like to use, defeat him early in the game so that you can use him in future matches. When you jump over a projectile, kick at the height of the jump for a little extra verticality. When your opponent throws a projectile at you, throw a projectile back at him to return the favor. When you defeat Gyaku (which takes three wins) and get the oppor tunity to finish him off with a Deathmove, don’t do it! Now you get to fight the game’s real final boss, a giant demon. Defeat him three times and you get the ending sequence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SECRETS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pause Screen Toggle: When the game is paused, press the 1 and 3 buttons at the same time to turn off the PAUSED box. Press 1 and 3 to bring back the box. Same-Character Combat: This trick requires two Jaguar controllers, and also requires you to have entered a Gore Code. (If you haven’t already entered a Code, choose something easy to remember, such as “111111.”) Go to the Game Options screen and select the Change Code option.When you’re prompted to enter a code, hold down the A and C buttons on Controller 2 and enter the code 621544 on Controller 1. If you’ve entered the code properly, the words “Wrong Code” appear and you hear a laugh. Exit the Game Options and start a two-player game.The players can now select the same fighter.
