It's 2005 now and it seems like the Steel Sisters have taken a step back and decided to an FAQ for an old school console. In fact, its one of the first old school FAQs we've done in years. If all goes well, 2005 will be our most productive year since 1991. Here we have a game by the name of Bible Buffet. If you played the board game called CandyLand then this game is somewhat similar to that game with a twist. What is interesting is that the music played at the title screen is "When the Saints go marching in." For some reason, this game makes us hungry. Oh duh! This game is based on food afterall LOL! XD XD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Options ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You have the option of choosing up to four players at the title screen. Then you choose which question category that you want from a number of 100-999 but we have no clue what that means. You then choose your name. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controls ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A button = spins the wheel, throw weapon in action mode B button = lay explosive barrels in action mode Start = Pause the game in action mode Select = change weapon in action mode D-pad = move in the direction you pressed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gameplay ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 12 levels on the board: Veggie Land, Potato Land, Salad Land, Fast Food Land, Bread Land, Pizza Land, Bar-B-Q Land, Freezer Land, Snack Land, Liquid Land, Fruit Land, and Dessert Land. The object of the game is to spin the wheel and whatever number it lands on is how many spaces you move. If it lands on a smiley face then you either move ahead ten spaces or get a free spin. A frown leads to a loss of turn or going back a few spaces. As you move along the board, if land on a red dot, you are in a safe spot and on two occassions you can take a shortcut. It also counts as a free spin. If you land on anything else but a red dot, you go to an action sequence where you shoot at the attacking food shaped enemies with a spoon, knife, or fork and use the barrels to protect you too. Nailing an enemy will stun it, run through it when it is stunned and it will be knocked out of play. Then you just head straight for the exit. Rolling a book takes you to a pop quiz which we assume you need a book. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enemies ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are lots of enemies that look like food and other objects. You are like the only object that is human. The enemies depend on the land you are in: Veggie Land: Tomatoes, Carrots, Pumpkins Potato Land: Fries, Cucumbers, Ketchup bottles Salad Land: Bell Peppers, Salad Dressing bottles Fast Food Land: Enemy Chefs, Pickles, Hamburger, Eggs Bread Land: Milk Jugs Pizza Land: Anchovies, Pizzas Bar-B-Q Land: T-Bone Steak, Baked Chicken, Watermelon wedges Freezer Land: Snack Land: Liquid Land: Coffee Cups Fruit Land: Orange Halves, Strawberries Dessert Land: Pie slice ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scoring ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Points are scored by gathering food during the action sequence. Don't be all hasty to get every bit of food, they can double as barriers between you and enemy foods. If you knock out a sequence of enemy foods, then you get more points depending on the number of enemies cleared in one shot ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Action Sequences ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following action sequence are according to how we fared. The carrots move towards you and the pattern of the food around, will have them zigzag into your path to be killed by a spoon and a bump. Get all the food and exit north. Rolled another 3. #6: Free spin. Rolled a 1. #7: Pumpkins run back and forth. Knock them off and get the food and head right and take out more pumpkins and get more food and exit south. Rolled a 1. #8: Kill the carrots and tomatoes and get the food. Move down and kill the tomatoes and pumpkins. Use a barrel to break the barriers around food and exit south. Rolled yet another 1. #9: Kill the carrots and zig zag down and kill more carrots and exit south. Rolled a 6. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Potato Land +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ #5: Free Square, spin again. Rolled a 5 #10: Avoid the ketchup bottles squirts and the cucumbers bun tosses. Cucumbers are invincible so slip past them. Kill the fries. You notice hearts do you? You'll need them as to replenish the damage you have to take on the top then exit to the next section on the lower right. The Cucumbers throw sundaes. Slip past them and get the barrels in between their tosses then at the bottom, collect the potatoes and exit stage right. You can't kill the enemy chefs, only stun them. Move up. Get the corndogs and pickles and exit north. Rolled 2 frowns and got sent back 4 soaces total Rolled a 5. #6: Just head straight up. Kill the eggs and moe along the path to the exit. Rolled a 1. #7: Just take the right path and stun the chef and go up. Go up and to the left and exit north. Rolled a 2. #9: Run left. Kill the three eggs and make your way to the exit on the left. Move through the maze and kill the anchovies on the way to the exit.
